Jonathan "Jon" H. Stowe
Partner | Head of Litigation & Personal Injury
“I don’t just practice law; I solve problems. Sometimes that means a handshake, and sometimes it means a fight.”
Jonathan Stowe co-founded Hogan Stowe with a singular mission: to level the playing field for individuals and small businesses against large corporations and insurance companies. With over 25 years of trial experience, Jon has recovered millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for his clients. He is one of the few attorneys in the region equally comfortable negotiating a multi-party business merger and arguing a complex personal injury case before a jury.
A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, Jon began his career as a public defender. It was there he learned that every client—regardless of the accusation—deserves a vigorous defense and a voice in the system. That fire has never died. Today, he brings that same intensity to every civil case he touches.

Eleanor "Ellie" M. Hogan
Partner | Head of Estate Planning & Business Law
“Peace of mind isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity. My job is to build a legal framework that lets my clients sleep well at night.”
Where Jonathan fights the battles, Eleanor Hogan builds the fortresses. Ellie brings a calming, meticulous presence to Hogan Stowe, specializing in proactive law. She understands that for most people, legal issues like estate planning or starting a business can feel overwhelming. Her gift is translating complex tax codes and legal structures into a clear, actionable roadmap that protects families and businesses for decades to come.
Ellie earned her law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and initially worked for a large regional firm. However, she found the “big firm” model too detached from the families she was trying to help. At Hogan Stowe, she has found her home, offering boutique-level service that treats clients like family, because, in her eyes, they are.
Whether she is helping a young couple draft their first will or guiding a multi-generational family business through a transition, Ellie’s approach is defined by empathy and precision.
